Pro Game Guides is looking for freelance writers from anywhere in the world to join its growing team covering everything from mobile games to viral indie hits. This role is freelance and fully remote, with part-time and full-time contracts also possible for the right candidates. 

Interested candidates should also have in-depth knowledge of Roblox and/or mobile games (with a focus on gacha and anime titles). If you have writing experience, love playing games, and respond well to constructive criticism, we'd love to talk to you. 

Responsibilities:

  • Write quality guides
  • Help around game releases and updates
  • Work with editors to develop pitches
  • Meet deadlines for publishing stories
  • Follow trending topics through Google Trends and social platforms (Discord, Reddit, YouTube, etc.)
  • Understand online game communities and the games themselves

Preferred qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience writing in the gaming industry
  • Knowledge of SEO practices
  • Weekend availability is a plus
