Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled, curious, and motivated Frontend Engineer to join our growing team at Lazarus. As a Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the front end applications that implement our software products. Our customers work in some of the most critical aspects of the Nation and her Allies’ National Security. We are looking for a driven individual that is passionate about keeping the world safe through technology. On the Development team, we give individuals the chance to develop new skill sets as we work on creating breakthrough products.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and maintainable frontend systems using a variety of programming languages
• Collaborate with designers to integrate design components with user-facing applications
• Write clean, maintainable code that follows best practices and adheres to coding standards
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise
• Write unit tests and participate in code reviews to ensure the quality and reliability of our products

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in front-end development using JavaScript, React, or similar technologies (Python experience is a plus)
• Experience using CI/CD tools such as Gitlab to version control and build testing into the CI/CD pipeline
• Experience working in a scrum or agile software development team using Jira
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• United States citizenship
• Ability to pass Advanced Security Screening
• Eligibility for Security Clearance

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Mobile development experience on Android platforms using Java or Kotlin
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS
• Knowledge of REST API design principles
• Experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
• Experience with GenAI UI and application development
• Interest in generative tools for UI Design and generative Design
• Experience with the US Government and/or Department of Defense

• Compensation (commensurate with experience): $90,000 - $135,000 (base salary) + bonus + equity
