What does a work environment look like at Vouch?

Vouch has employees located across the U.S., with offices in San Francisco, Chicago, and New York City. This role can be based anywhere in the U.S.

Role Responsibilities: 

As a Freelance Event Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Field Marketing Manager with the administrative and operational aspects of event planning and execution. This position is ideal for someone highly organized and detail-oriented, who enjoys working behind the scenes to ensure seamless event logistics. You will be responsible for managing timelines, coordinating vendors, tracking budgets, and handling event communications. Your ability to juggle multiple tasks while keeping events on schedule and within scope will be essential in ensuring successful activations.

Work Duties: 

  • Assist in the coordination, and execution of events, ensuring all logistical details are managed efficiently.

  • Maintain and update event project plans, tracking timelines, budgets, and deliverables.

  • Liaise with vendors, venues, and other external partners to confirm logistics and ensure smooth execution.

  • Support event registration, guest lists, and attendee communication.

You are a proactive and highly organized individual with a passion for events and marketing. Whether you're a recent graduate looking to break into the event industry or someone seeking hands-on experience in a fast-paced startup environment, this role provides an exciting opportunity to develop key operational skills. You thrive in a detail-heavy role, enjoy problem-solving, and are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams. Strong communication skills and adaptability will set you up for success in this role.

Nice To Have:

  • Previous experience in event coordination, field marketing, or operations.

  • Familiarity with project management tools (Salesforce, G Suite, or similar).

  • Basic knowledge of supporting platforms such as Luma, Eventbrite, and Canva.


What to expect in the interview process:

  • 30-minute phone call with our recruiting team

  • 30 minute Zoom interview with the hiring manager

  • Meet the team! 30-45 min 1:1 Zoom meetings with 2-3 team members you’d work closely with in the role

Hourly Pay Rate:

  • $60 per hour 

  • 15-20 hours weekly

This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position. No benefits are provided, and contractors are responsible for their own taxes and compliance with applicable laws.
