As a Freelance Content Creator, you will be responsible for producing engaging articles and content on topics related to digital asset compute, energy, and technology. This includes collaborating with teams, conducting thorough research, proofreading, and managing multiple content projects.
SUMMARY
We are looking for a talented and driven Freelance Content Creator to join our Marketing Communications team. The ideal candidate will produce well-researched, engaging, and insightful articles for publication in various magazines, as well as content for our company’s blog and third-party blogs, detailed case studies, short explainers, blogs, newsletters, presentations, website copy, and more. This role demands a high level of technical proficiency and a keen interest in topics such as digital asset compute (e.g., Bitcoin mining), energy, and technology.
RESPONSBILITIES
- Content Creation: Write clear, accurate, and technically detailed articles on topics related to digital asset compute, energy, and technology. Additionally, create other forms of content, including short explainers, blogs, newsletters, presentations, website copy, and more.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Technical Content Manager and the Marketing Communications team to align content with the company’s branding and communication strategies. Interviewing departments may be required to gather initial positioning and research points.
- Research: Conduct thorough and high-quality research to back up writing. You may be required to source data, refer to technical documents, and conduct interviews with MARA’s internal departments.
- Editing: Proofread and edit your work ensuring clarity, grammar, and technical accuracy.
- Project Management: Efficiently manage timelines and deliverables for multiple content pieces and projects.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven Experience: Demonstrable experience in writing technical articles, preferably with a portfolio that includes work on technology and energy topics.
- Writing Skills: Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an ability to create thoughtful and engaging content.
- Research Skills: Strong capability to perform in-depth research. Experience in technical research is a plus.
- Creativity: Ability to generate innovative ideas for content and think critically about how to appeal to target audiences.
- Team Collaboration: Excellent collaborative spirit to work effectively with various teams within the organization.
- Organization Skills: Outstanding organizational and time management skills to handle multiple assignments effectively.
- Design Skills: An eye for design is advantageous. Experience with design tools like Figma is a plus, enabling you to collaborate on creating visually appealing content
