Make Your Mark:
lackLine is looking for an experienced Financial Systems Lead to join our Financial Systems team. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, enhancement, and support of SAP Commissions systems. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in SAP Commissions, an understanding of incentive compensation frameworks, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet business needs while driving operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience in improving system stability, defining migration procedures, and provide recommendations to the business based on best practices.
You'll Get To:

  • Develop, customize, and maintain the SAP Commissions platform to support compensation and incentive programs. Customize compensation logic, workflows, data integration and reports to meet business requirements.
  • Manage automations or future integrations of SAP Commissions with other systems such as Salesforce, NetSuite, and other business applications. Define integration processes, document requirements, and ensure seamless data flow across platforms.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to review existing compensation processes and create roadmap to leverage SAP Commissions' capabilities to increase efficiency and reduce manual interventions. Identify opportunities for process improvements and system optimizations.
  • Architect and implement complex customizations, including commission calculation models, quota assignments, workflow, reporting, and performance dashboards within SAP Commissions. Ensure scalability and system stability with a focus on long-term performance.
  • Lead SAP Commissions development projects through the full SDLC. Manage requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with end users and business teams during the development and customization of new SAP Commissions functionalities. Ensure that systems meet user expectations and business requirements.
  • Provide day-to-day support for SAP Commissions, identifying and resolving issues as they arise. Log and manage tickets, troubleshooting system errors, ensuring timely resolutions, and maintaining a stable and high-performing system.
  • Manage change control processes for responsible systems, ensuring compliance with SOX and ITGCs. Document changes, approvals, and appropriate signoff in JIRA.


What You'll Bring:

  • 7+ years of experience with SAP Commissions, including system customization, development, workflow and integrations.
  • 2+ full lifecycle SAP Commissions implementations (Callidus Cloud)
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Within the SAP Incentive Management system, should have working experience with:
  • SAP HANA
  • Rules and Configuration
  • Embedded Analytics
  • Crystal Reports
  • Advanced Workflow
  • Dashboard designing
  • Hands-on experience with SQL for querying, data validation, and analysis.
  • Experience in writing stored procedures and configuring complex payment calculations.
  • Advanced understanding of SLDC processes, system deployment, and best


practices for quality assurance.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, with a proven ability to document technical specifications, system configurations, and customizations clearly for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Certification in SAP Commission (Callidus) module.
