Job Brief:
We are looking for a highly motivated Financial Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with business units, providing financial insights, supporting decision-making, and driving process improvements. This role involves financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting while ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Key Responsibilities:
- To work closely with the business unit and actively participate in its operations and management.
- To develop financial plans along with various business and technology teams with rigour on bottom's up approach.
- Ensuring seamless finance activities in the department and preparing monthly MIS for accounting functions, and working on budgets as per Accounting Standards.
- To track and measure key financials and business metrics.
- To support month-end account closures, procedures, and corrections as needed.
- Prepare the plans vs actuals regularly, in-depth analysis of variance, and communicate the same proactively, creating the right visibility and enabling actionable planning.
- Handle Ad-hoc requests and problem-solving with a short turnaround time.
- Participate in & drive standardization automation projects for process efficiency.
Requirements:
- A qualified CA or a Tier-1 MBA with 0-1 years of experience in Business Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis.
- A professional with excellent communication and presentation skills, having an exceptional professional track record.
- Strong knowledge of accounting, finance, reporting, budgeting, business operations, strategic planning, FP&A.
- Knowledge of Advance Excel, MS Office & PPT,
- An analytical mind.
- Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships.
- Commercial and business awareness/acumen.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to stick to time constraints.
- Working knowledge on NetSuite ERP will be an added advantage.
