As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in enhancing financial planning, forecasting, and business insights. You will maintain and refine complex, driver-based budgeting and forecasting models, ensuring they align with evolving business needs. You will provide analytical guidance, data, and visualizations on the performance and outlook of the business to inform stakeholders, senior management, and parent company leadership. You will develop a deep understanding of Mission and use data to build insights about our key performance indicators and financial risks and opportunities.This position is 100% remote.
Responsibilities
- Support monthly, quarterly and annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and strategic planning processes with data-driven insights and cohesive financial analysis
- Contribute to key finance processes including scenario modeling, workforce planning and management reporting, ensuring accuracy and relevance
- Work with finance leadership and business teams to review and validate financial forecast assumptions, identify risks and opportunities, and enhance forecasting accuracy
- Conduct high-quality, quantitative financial analysis including monthly P&L reports, what-if analysis, trend analysis and budget/forecast to actual variances
- Develop and deliver data analytics and visualizations
- Monitor key performance indicators, analyze trends, investigate variances and escalate anomalies to FP&A leadership
- Assist in the preparation of financial presentations and reports for executive leadership and parent company reporting deadlines, ensuring clarity and accuracy
- Support updates to financial models in Adaptive Insights by incorporating feedback from business partners and ensuring accuracy in evolving business needs
- Develop and implement strategies to simplify or automate routine data manipulation tasks
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis projects, providing insights that support strategic business initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Data Analytics or a related field or equivalent experience
- 5 years of experience working in finance / FP&A, business intelligence or consulting
- Ability to read, analyze, contextualize, and interpret common financial statements and business documents
- Advanced spreadsheet modeling skills, including experience with complex financial models, scenario analysis, and automation techniques (Power Query or Python is a plus)
- Ability to support forecasting processes, own complex financial analysis, and produce financial reporting deliverables with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience working with Essbase, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Hyperion, Cognos or similar financial planning tools, either as a back-end modeler or a front-end power user
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across finance and business teams
- Ability to work with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau

Placement within the range is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and ability as evaluated during the interview process. The compensation range for the base salary of this role is: $95,000 - $120,000.
