About Stepful 

Stepful partners with healthcare institutions to build talent pipelines and career pathways. We are reimagining allied healthcare training with a digital-first environment for student cohorts that prepare job-ready graduates five times faster, at a fraction of the cost. The Role

After becoming one of the fastest growing edtech startups in the United States, Stepful is ready to uplevel our growth engine. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Finance Lead will be instrumental in scaling our accounting and finance functions, optimizing financial resources, and partnering with the leadership team on key strategic initiatives to support Stepful’s next phase of growth. 

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the development and execution of financial strategies to support Stepful's growth objectives.

  • Oversee the end-to-end financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

  • Scale of the accounting and finance team to meet the evolving needs of the company.

This job is for you if: 

  • You have 8+ years of experience in finance or accounting, ideally in a high-growth startup, with a background in edtech or healthcare being a strong plus.

  • You’re highly skilled in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting, with hands-on experience managing P&L and cash flow for scaling companies.
