Job Description Summary
Reporting directly to the FP&A Director of Investor Relations with occasional oversight by the VP of FP&A, our Intern will assist in cost reporting and full P&L management. Special attention is paid to month end close and results flashes, which include variance commentary, key KPIs and high-level observations. Intern will collaborate closely with the FP&A team to learn the ins and outs of planning, forecasting, reporting and analysis. Other responsibilities include maintaining headcount, vendor spend and travel per department, as well as learning to navigate the Finance systems/tools such as NetSuite, Planful and Concur. Intern will collaborate with Finance, Accounting and Investor Relations and gain a deep understanding for the company-wide cash flow and profit and loss statements.
Must be a current student at an accredited college pursuing a degree in Finance and/or Accounting.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in monthly close, including flash reporting
-
Maintain monthly headcount reconciliations and track new hires/backfills/terminations and changes in pay/departments/positions

Work with Director of Investor Relations to report a monthly Cash Flow.

Understand one-time expenses, changes in net working capital, taxes and other items that effect free cash flow

Help Cost FP&A team in tracking spend towards evolution initiatives

Prepare P&Ls as needed for Monthly Business Reviews, Investor requests, etc.

Attend team calls and shadow managers+ for Finance training as needed

Perform other related job duties as assigned
What you’ll need to succeed:

Be a current student at accredited college pursuing a degree in Finance and/or Accounting

Intermediate computer skills including understanding of MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint

Basic understanding of financial statements – P&L, Cash Flow
-
Strong writing, communication and interpersonal skills
-
Commitment to learning and developing skills

Ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization

Internship Duration: This opportunity begins in June/July 2025 and runs through August/September 2025.
