Who we are

Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations™ Cloud, which is a platform that enables organizations that depend on physical operations to harness Internet of Things (IoT) data to develop actionable insights and improve their operations. At Samsara, we are helping improve the safety, efficiency and sustainability of the physical operations that power our global economy. Representing more than 40% of global GDP, these industries are the infrastructure of our planet, including agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing — and we are excited to help digitally transform their operations at scale.

Working at Samsara means you’ll help define the future of physical operations and be on a team that’s shaping an exciting array of product solutions, including Video-Based Safety, Vehicle Telematics, Apps and Driver Workflows, Equipment Monitoring, and Site Visibility. As part of a recently public company, you’ll have the autonomy and support to make an impact as we build for the long term.

About the role:

As part of the Regional Field Marketing team, you will play a key role in driving growth in Mexico by leading strategic, high-impact marketing initiatives. In this role, you will plan and execute field marketing programs and events, while also creating compelling, customer-focused content that fuels demand generation and strengthens brand positioning. You’ll be responsible for developing event-related content, such as promotional emails, landing pages, presentations, and on-site materials, that enhances the attendee experience and reinforces key messaging. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in event execution and project management, complemented by experience in content development and a deep understanding of B2B marketing.

This is a remote position open to candidates based in Mexico City, with up to 30% national and international travel required.

You should apply if:

  • You want to impact the industries that run our world: Your efforts will result in real-world impact—helping to keep the lights on, get food into grocery stores, reduce emissions, and most importantly, ensure workers return home safely.
  • You are the architect of your own career: If you put in the work, this role won’t be your last at Samsara. We set up our employees for success and have built a culture that encourages rapid career development, countless opportunities to experiment and master your craft in a hyper growth environment.
  • You’re energized by our opportunity: The vision we have to digitize large sectors of the global economy requires your full focus and best efforts to bring forth creative, ambitious ideas for our customers.
  • You want to be with the best: At Samsara, we win together, celebrate together and support each other. You will be surrounded by a high-calibre team that will encourage you to do your best.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the strategy, planning, and flawless execution of field marketing programs and events tailored to specific business needs, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
  • Define and track key performance metrics, conduct post-event analyses, and deliver actionable ROI insights to drive ongoing optimization.
  • Represent the brand at key events, ensuring consistent messaging and delivering exceptional, high-impact experiences.
  • Manage and optimize event budgets, continuously evaluating outcomes against objectives to refine future efforts.
  • Collaborate closely with central and regional marketing teams, as well as cross-functional partners, to align on strategy and meet pipeline generation goals.
  • Create, curate, and manage event-related content, such as promotional emails, landing pages, presentations, and on-site materials, that enhances the attendee experience and reinforces key messaging.
  • Develop a variety of marketing assets—including one-pagers, reports, guides, videos, and ebooks—that effectively communicate the value of our solutions and elevate brand presence.
  • Build and manage relationships with customers and partners as part of event programming—coordinating panels, speaker engagements, and strategic conversations that highlight real-world success stories and deepen audience connection.
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices.

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • 5+ years of experience in field marketing or event marketing, with a proven ability to manage end-to-end event execution and contribute to broader go-to-market strategies.
  • Demonstrated success in creating and executing impactful, customer-facing content as part of integrated marketing initiatives.
  • Strong storytelling and writing skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills; able to deliver high-quality work on deadline in a dynamic environment with multiple moving parts.
  • Proficient in using data and analytics to assess the performance and impact of content and marketing programs.
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset—able to work independently, take initiative, and contribute strategic ideas that align with marketing goals.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with strong organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Strategic thinker with attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% for events and on-site activations.

An ideal candidate also has:

  • Passion for experimentation, measurement, and optimization to drive ROI continuously.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with the ability to assess, prioritize, pivot, and problem-solve across multiple projects.
  • A good understanding of B2B sales processes and customer journeys.
  • Expertise in B2B marketing tech stacks, including Salesforce, tableau and splash, is a plus.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
