Job Description:

Remitly's vision is to transform lives with trusted financial services that transcend borders. Since 2011, we have been tirelessly delivering on our promises to people who send money around the world. Today, we are reimagining global financial services and building products that extend beyond traditional barriers to give customers access to more of the services they need, no matter where they call home. Join over 2,700 employees worldwide who are growing their careers with purpose and connection with our customers while having a positive impact on millions of people around the globe.

About the Role:

As the Executive Business Partner (EBP) reporting to and supporting our Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), you will play a critical role in enabling the effectiveness of our marketing leadership team, ensuring seamless operations, strategic prioritization, and cross-functional alignment. You will go beyond administrative support—it's about increasing impact by proactively anticipating needs, structuring priorities, and optimizing execution at scale.

We are looking for a highly proactive partner who can think beyond the immediate task list—someone who can anticipate challenges, provide recommendations, and actively structure priorities to maximize impact. This position is based in Seattle and requires at least three days in the office. Further discretion will need to be used for events and critical onsite meetings.

You Will:

  • Own and manage CMO's time by structuring priorities, assessing trade-offs, and ensuring alignment with key business objectives.
  • Provide strategic administrative support, anticipating needs and independently resolving shifting priorities.
  • Lead calendar management, optimizing scheduling across stakeholders and time zones.
  • Support the CMO in leading the Extended Marketing Management Team, ensuring smooth operations for leadership meetings, tracking key deliverables, and planning two offsites annually.
  • Partner with EBPs across Remitly to streamline initiatives, communications, and leadership coordination.
  • Organize and execute team-building events, leadership sessions, and marketing all-hands meetings.
  • Coordinate complex international and domestic travel, ensuring seamless logistics and efficiency.
  • Process expense reports, track the travel & entertainment budget, and manage organizational business rhythms.
  • Support onboarding and integration of new marketing leadership hires.

You Have:

  • A strong alignment to our mission and values
  • 5+ years experience supporting C-level executives.
  • Experience supporting larger organizations of 100 or more employees
  • Strong attention to detail when handling priorities, projects, and deadlines.
  • Comfort working across different time zones, specifically Seattle, El Paso, Virginia, and London.
  • Proficiency in contemporary collaboration and productivity tools - Google suite, Slack, and Zoom

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
