Enterprise Integration Engineer II

Why We Have This Role

Qualtrics is seeking an Enterprise Integration Engineer to join our newly formed Enterprise Integration team! The Integrations Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing integrations between various software systems to ensure smooth data flow and functionality across platforms. This team will integrate with SaaS solutions such as Salesforce, Netsuite and SAP SuccessFactors. If you have a Bachelor’s degree, have 3+ years of integration engineering experience, and want to work at a fast-growing tech company, Qualtrics could be the place you’ve been dreaming about.

How You’ll Find Success

  • Responsible for designing, implementing, and managing integrations between various software systems to ensure smooth data flow and functionality across platforms. 
  • Closely with other engineering teams, Enterprise Architects to understand integration requirements and deploy effective solutions. 
  • Play a key role in troubleshooting, optimizing, and maintaining the reliability of integrations to support business processes and objectives. 
  • Strong communication and documentation skills are essential, as multiple teams will look at the Integrations Engineer for accurate project details and status updates.
  • Expand on knowledge of data integration patterns and approaches (APIs, Microservices, Pub/Sub, Batch, Streaming, etc.)

  • Keep up-to-date with the latest integration tools, technologies, and industry trends.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance and automate integration processes.

Collaboration, Communication, and Documentation:

  • Maintain clear and concise communication with cross-functional teams, ensuring all stakeholders understand project statuses, requirements, and integration details.
  • Document integration processes, configurations, and updates thoroughly, so teams relying on these details have a reliable reference.

Things You'll Do

Integration Design and Development:

  • Analyze integration needs based on business requirements.
  • Design and implement integration solutions to connect diverse software systems.
  • Develop, test, and deploy integration solutions using APIs, iPaaS, or custom coding solutions.

Troubleshooting production issues and Maintenance:

  • Monitor integrations to ensure optimal performance and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Perform debugging and troubleshooting of integration errors.
  • Optimize integration performance and enhance data flow reliability.

Quality Assurance and Testing:

  • Conduct thorough testing of integration solutions to ensure data accuracy, security, and reliability.
  • Implement best practices for data integrity and security during integration.

What We’re Looking For On Your Resume

  • 3+ years of experience integrating enterprise applications in the areas of Finance, HR, IT, Legal, GTM etc.
  • Knowledge of data integration patterns and approaches (APIs, Microservices, Pub/Sub, Batch, Streaming, etc.)
  • Well-versed with modern iPaaS solutions such as Boomi, Workato, Snaplogic.
  • Must have experience integrating with SaaS solutions such as Salesforce, Netsuite and SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Ability to program in at least one of the following: Java, Groovy, JavaScript, Python.
  • Knowledge about API design standards, patterns, and best-practices especially Swagger, REST, SOAP.
  • Advanced understanding of integration standards/protocols such as JSON, XML, XSD, XSLT, WSDL, and WADL.
  • Exposure to CI/CD concepts.
  • You have hands-on experience using Workato as an iPaaS integration platform.
  • You have experience in large scale projects in Quote to Cash, Hire to Retire, Procure to Pay domains.
  • Ability to learn new development languages and tools.

For full-time positions, this pay range is for base per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, education, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be included in an employment offer, in addition to a range of medical, financial, and other benefits, based on eligibility criteria.
