The Opportunity at Komodo Health:
The mission of the Enterprise Account Executive / AVP, Key Accounts is to lead growth and expansion of Komodo Health Life Sciences key accounts/customers. This role is responsible for developing deep relationships with our existing customers while engaged in complex sales cycles and driving significant deals across the finish line.
If you can drive dramatic growth in existing pharma accounts while building new ones from the ground up—aligning solutions with client needs through compelling storytelling and strategic prospecting—then you’re the exceptional builder we’re looking for.

- Leveraged existing and developed new C-Suite / executive contacts within named life sciences accounts
- Driven multi-year, multi-million dollar enterprise and bundled offerings sales
- Enabled consistent and predictable revenue at assigned key accounts
- Positioned yourself as a trusted partner and advisor to your key accounts businesses
These are the essential job duties you will be responsible for..
- Lead the entire sales cycle for key accounts, strategically navigating from initial prospecting and relationship building to negotiation, closure, and onboarding of new revenue AND renewal opportunities
- Drive revenue streams and achieve growth targets through a deep understanding of client needs and aligning them with our product suite
- Collaborate with Commercial Sales AVPs and Komodo Account Management regarding growth strategies and retention/expansion
- Utilize Salesforce and other sales tools to provide accurate forecasts of pipeline generation and revenue projections
- Leverage key sales metrics to drive performance and enhance decision-making capabilities across all stages of the sales cycle
- Nurture and maintain executive-level relationships within assigned accounts, ensuring an ever expanding presence
- Serve as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders, facilitating long-term partnerships that drive mutual success and revenue growth
- Optimize engagement strategies by partnering with Komodo Health Account Managers, Customer Success, Sales Development, and Product/Engineering teams
- Ensure all customer touch-points are synchronized and tailored to each key account’s specific requirements, enhancing customer satisfaction and retention
- Gather and relay customer feedback regarding product offerings, market trends, and competitive landscape
- Influence and inform Komodo Health messaging, product development, and go-to-market strategies using insights from key account customers
- Identify and advocate for new opportunities of growth and expansion within assigned accounts, ensuring our solutions continually align with customer evolution
What you bring to Komodo Health (required):
- 6+ years in enterprise sales, ideally within SaaS, data or enterprise technology landing and expanding key pharma/life sciences accounts
- Current strategic relationships with major pharmaceutical companies
- Ability to engage and influence various roles within an account, including technical and business leaders up to C-level executives
- Prior success leading pipeline development and managing complex sales processes for large-scale deals
- Robust sales forecasting skills with a consistent history of achieving or surpassing sales quota
- The ability to create compelling business cases and sway purchasing decisions
- Skilled in selling solutions and services not typically covered by pre-set budgets
- Proven communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
The pay range for each job posting reflects a minimum and maximum range of annual base pay that we reasonably expect to pay for this position within the US. We carefully consider multiple business-related factors when determining compensation, including job-related skills, work experience, geographic work location, relevant training and certifications, business needs and market demands.
The starting annual base pay for this role is listed below. This position is also eligible for commissions in accordance with a written agreement or plan. This role may also be eligible for equity awards. In addition, this role is eligible for benefits including, but not limited to, comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance; flexible time off and holidays; 401(k) with company match; disability insurance and life insurance; and leaves of absence in accordance with applicable state and local laws and regulations and company policy.
San Francisco Bay Area and New York City:
$157,000—$200,000 USD
All Other US Locations:
$157,000—$200,000 USD

Komodo Health has a hybrid work model; we recognize the power of choice and importance of flexibility for the well-being of both our company and our individual Dragons. Roles may be completely remote based anywhere in the country listed, remote but based in a specific region, or local (commuting distance) to one of our hubs in San Francisco, New York City, or Chicago with remote work options.
