In a few short years, monday.com has grown from a successful startup based on a great idea to a publicly traded, multi-product company. We are one of the fastest- growing SaaS companies in the world, continuing to experience hyper-growth and scale!

We are building and scaling our engineering teams in London and looking for an experienced, hands-on Engineering Manager to establish and lead our new Reporting team, part of the Worktools group. This group focuses on tools that help users interact with monday.com efficiently. It includes features that users see and use daily (like dashboards and docs) and platforms that support other teams in building and improving the product.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the team from the ground up, define its engineering standards, and build cutting-edge solutions that enhance the monday.com platform for millions of users.

About The Role

You'll work with experienced and highly talented engineers who are passionate about what they do, using cutting-edge technologies in a data- and impact-driven environment. We foster a culture of transparency, full ownership, teamwork, and a no-ego policy.

Our engineering department is structured into different groups, each responsible for a critical domain within the monday.com product. With over 300 engineers, we operate in cross-functional teams, collaboratively defining, improving, building, and delivering features.

What you will do:

  • Build and lead the new Reporting team, defining its vision, strategy, and engineering culture.
  • Shape engineering standards within the team and across the Worktools group and Engineering at monday.com.
  • Lead a team of talented engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Work closely with product and design teams to build robust services and exceptional user experiences.
  • Take an active role in defining and designing advanced solutions that push the boundaries of our platform.
  • Our tech stack: Node.js, Ruby On Rails, ReactJS, K8s, AWS, Redis, MySQL. We operate in a microservices and microfrontends architecture, allowing for rapid development and deployment cycles.

Note: Prior experience with our tech stack is not required; we welcome people willing to learn.



Requirements

  • 3+ years of proven management experience.
  • Experience building web applications from scratch in a production environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex requirements into actionable tasks.
  • Impact-driven mindset, with a strong focus on users and business needs.
  • A strong sense of ownership, ensuring high-quality delivery and long-term success.
