About the Role:

The Sui Foundation is seeking an Ecosystem Development Lead to drive the growth and success of the Sui blockchain ecosystem. You will play a key role in expanding the number of builders, users, and projects within the ecosystem by creating and executing strategic initiatives, building relationships with developers and stakeholders, and ensuring the seamless collaboration of ecosystem participants. As a central figure in the Sui ecosystem, you will work across teams to amplify innovation, adoption, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Growth Initiatives:

  • Design and execute comprehensive strategies to accelerate adoption of the Sui blockchain with crypto native companies.

  • Identify and engage with high-impact builders to integrate and scale within the Sui ecosystem.

Partnership Development:

  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including developers, investors, accelerators, and community leaders in the Web3 space.

  • Create tailored engagement plans for partners to foster collaboration and drive impactful projects.

Ecosystem Support and Enablement:

  • Provide direct support to builders, startups, and organizations developing on Sui by connecting them with resources and business opportunities.

  • Liaise with internal teams (de vrel, community, marketing) to align on ecosystem goals, ensuring builders have the resources needed to succeed.

Community and Feedback Loop:

  • Represent Sui Foundation at industry events, conferences, and meetups to promote the ecosystem and gather insights.

  • Act as the primary point of contact between ecosystem partners and the Foundation, ensuring continuous feedback for product innovation and growth.


Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in business development, venture capital, ecosystem growth, or partner management, preferably within the Web3 industry.

  • Deep understanding of blockchain technology and the Web3 ecosystem, with demonstrated experience in fostering growth within a decentralized network.

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Highly organized, resourceful, and self-driven, with a proven track record of managing complex projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with developer communities, startups, or accelerators.

  • Familiarity with decentralized application development, smart contracts, and blockchain infrastructure.

  • Comfortable navigating the rapidly evolving Web3 landscape and identifying emerging opportunities.
