Document Control Representative III

Job Description
BAE Systems Jacksonville Ship Repair Division is seeking to hire a Document Control Representative. Duties include:

• Updates logs and databases; maintains files of project reports, product proposals and documentation.
• Prepares status reports, creates and maintains bid and awarded avail documents, and reviews documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensures documents meet standards for production.
• Provides production support for Program Managers / Ship Superintendents.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• High School diploma and 2 years of experience
• Proficiency in Excel and able to perform simple functions (formulas, pivot tables)
• Uploading bid packages for Production review
• Reviews and edits outgoing reports for grammatical and spelling errors and attachment accuracy.
• Ability to access NMD (Navy Maintenance Database) to download change orders (RCC's) and verify reports / attachment submittal.
• Develop and update weekly reports from COGNOS (Excel proficiency).
• Support reporting and work spec requirements for Commercial and/or Navy work, as needed.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Defense Biometric Identification Systems Access Card known as "DBIDS"

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• U.S. Navy and / or Marine Maritime experience a plus.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $43170 - $69073
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
