We have an exciting opening in our sale team for a Director Sales Operations role! This opening will lead and optimize our sales operations strategy and relationships across our mass market retailers, including Target, Walmart, and Amazon. With a deep understanding of mass market retail dynamics, this role reports directly to the VP of Sales and will ensure alignment between our sales strategies and maximize revenue opportunities at our mass retail partners.  

 

Below you will find a few (but not all) of the main responsibilities:  

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align sales operations with overall business strategy and revenue goals. Drive strategic sales initiatives that enhance productivity and effectiveness.   
  • Partner with our third-party sales agencies on a daily business operations and serve as the main point of contact between our internal and external teams.  
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to grow and maintain our Marketplace (3P) channels with Key Accounts.  
  • Provide feedback to third-party sales agencies on performance and impact.  
  • Connect sales strategies back to planning and order management teams to ensure timely delivery and accurate order fulfillment.  
  • Manage and streamline sales processes, including order management, pricing, promotions, and inventory tracking.  
  • Oversee compliance with retailer requirements, including EDI processes, chargebacks, and vendor scorecards.  
  • Provide training and support to sales team members on tools, systems, and lead standard operating procedures to align with sales KPIs.  
  • Provide leadership to managers and professional staff and remain accountable for the performance and results of the department.
  • Some travel is required   

 

Education & Experience 

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.  
  • Bachelor’s degree is required, Business, Sales, or related field.  
  • 10+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Account Management, or a related role, preferably in the retail or consumer goods sector.  
  • 8 years of experience in a leadership role.  
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration across internal teams and external partners.
