ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Senior Director, Sales Execution & Operations, the Director, Sales Enablement & Training will establish and implement strategic plans to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of our US commercial sales organization. This role involves establishing and scaling a team to deliver training, manage onboarding, set standards, and create resources in support of career development and performance management. The ideal candidate will provide thought leadership, support and alignment to develop growth strategies for sales leaders to coach and develop their teams.

  • Develop strategy and process for onboarding new sales personnel
  • Develop and implement value-generating learning and development programs
  • Partner with strategy and execution teams to ensure efficient implementation of new initiatives
  • Partner with sales leadership to create unique and compelling incentives in support of commercial goals
  • Establish and scale a strong team responsible for ongoing training, development, and performance management

PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years of proven experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry
  • Customer-facing sales experience in convenience retail and tobacco/nicotine industry highly preferred
  • 5+ years of demonstrated people leadership of both field and key account sales organizations
  • Curiosity with a passion for continuous improvement
  • Ability to prioritize deliverables and tactfully communicate rationale to stakeholders

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Advanced Degree is a plus

Salary varies by role, level and location, and is dependent on the cost of labor in a given
geographic region among other factors. These ranges may be modified at any time.
