We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Global Supply Chain Management to lead the planning, procurement, and logistics for our Custom Silicon initiatives. This role will oversee the end-to-end supply chain, ensuring the seamless production and delivery of silicon components that power our next-generation products.

This role is onsite, based out of Austin, TX, Santa Clara, CA, or Toronto, CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a global supply chain strategy for custom silicon, optimizing cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Establish and manage partnerships with semiconductor foundries, OSATs (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test), and material suppliers.
  • Oversee demand forecasting, supply planning, and inventory management to ensure business continuity.
  • Drive risk mitigation strategies for supply disruptions, geopolitical challenges, and component shortages.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and manufacturing teams to align supply chain capabilities with business needs.
  • Lead supplier negotiations and contract management to ensure competitive pricing and capacity allocation.
  • Implement and enhance supply chain analytics, tracking key performance metrics and driving continuous improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with global trade regulations and sustainability initiatives.


Experience & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in semiconductor supply chain management, with a focus on custom silicon or ASICs.
  • Strong background in foundry operations, packaging, and test supply chains.
  • Proven ability to manage complex supplier relationships and negotiate strategic agreements.
  • Experience leading global teams and working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Deep understanding of semiconductor industry trends, including geopolitical and technological factors impacting supply chains.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
