Job Description
The Director of Global Sales Development will be responsible for leading the growth of our enterprise sales development organization for the Americas (AMS). The role will focus on guiding the region's revenue and talent pipelines.
What you get to do in this role - key responsibilities:

  • Inspire the sales development organization to create a repeatable, predictable, high-quality pipeline from select accounts.
  • Establish relationships and interlock with partners in Sales, Marketing, and Operations; represent the sales development organization across the business.
  • Manage team leaders (1st line managers); ensuring all teams exceed quarterly quotas and targets.
  • Strengthen the sales development charter, service level agreements, and measurements.
  • Mentor your team members according to the demands of the business and their individual professional goals.
  • Ensure understanding of resource use within the assigned area or region.


Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you have:

  • 5+ years of experience as a successful individual contributor in sales or marketing or business owner
  • 3+ years' experience leading a team in enterprise software sales or equivalent.
  • Experience leading successful sales development organizations in the B2B and SaaS markets.
  • Experience running a large book of business ($350 million and up).
  • Must be willing to work in the Waltham, MA office 4 days a week.
  • A high degree of expertise in sales development tools, including Data sources, CRM, marketing automation, and email/phone engagement.
  • Proficiency in sales development and selling methodologies: a variety of outbound prospecting practices and lead qualification.
