Position Summary 

 As Director, Global Compensation, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and administering global compensation programs and strategy in 20+ countries.   As Rimini Street continues our global expansion, you will be responsible for developing and administering market-competitive compensation programs and will be the trusted compensation advisor to our HR Business Partners and the Talent Acquisition team. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and administer Rimini Street’s global base pay, quarterly bonus incentive program, short-term and long-term incentive programs
  • Provides oversight and guidance on the administration of the Company’s corporate equity programs including vendor management, data reconciliation and Board approvals
  • Advise the executive team, Global Talent Acquisition, and HR Business Partners on pay decisions and guideline interpretations
  • Manage the job and pay structure, aligning and supporting career paths for employees, and provide expertise and counsel to the HR community and management
  • Partner with Finance and Legal teams in executing compensation and equity incentive programs
  • Compile, analyze, and summarize large amounts of raw data and make recommendations to the executive team
  • Keep apprised of worldwide compensation and equity laws and regulations in order to ensure Company compliance
  • Develop and/or participate in compensation surveys, analyzing competitive market data and developing recommendations for salary structure adjustments as appropriate
  • Lead, coach and develop a collaborative compensation team (currently with one direct report) using a consultative approach that aligns with company goals and operational needs

 Education

  • BA or BS Degree required or applicable experience

Experience

  • 10+ years of compensation experience including 5+ years in global compensation including demonstrated success leading & implementing a Compensation strategy, Job evaluation, and Incentive plans, within a globally matrixed environment

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience with Workday, specifically their performance management and compensation solutions
  • Leading a small, collaborative team to achieve goals that support the overall company and global HR strategy
  • Strong ability to analyze Global Compensation trends and provide insights from internal and external data
  • Prior experience analyzing and advising organizations on Executive Compensation
  • Preparation of information for a Compensation Committee a plus
  • Strong presentation & interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead meetings with a variety of employee levels and executive stakeholders 
  • Experience with SOX requirements
  • Experience administrating equity programs a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines

Compensation is based on role, location, and level of applicable experience. 

The general salary range for this type of role is 135k - 168k depending on skills and experience.
