About the Role:

We are seeking an impactful Director of Digital Experience to created and lead our credit union’s digital banking strategy, roadmap, and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in digital banking platforms, such as Alkami Technology or Lumin Digital. This role requires a strategic thinker with proven success in enhancing digital member experiences and driving innovation. Responsibilities:

  • Develops and executes Digital Experience roadmap, go-to-market strategy, integration of third- party properties for all digital properties,  including Digital Banking.

  • Develops strategies to build awareness and increase penetration of the Digital Banking platform (both desktop and App) and its growing capabilities/functionality as available.

  • Helps champion preference for digital channels, with Digital Banking as vital component of the member relationship, and a key strategic and tactical component of overall business and marketing plans.

  • Leads the strategic vision and execution of digital experiences across all web properties, ensuring seamless user journeys through data-driven optimization, A/B testing, and continuous improvement of site architecture and functionality.

  • Monitors & reports on member and feature usage within Digital Banking, member & platform issues, and makes recommendations for improvement.

  • Oversees comprehensive analytics framework and reporting dashboards that translate user behavior data into actionable insights, driving key business decisions and digital transformation initiatives.

  • Champions user-centered design principles across the organization, overseeing the creation and implementation of intuitive interfaces and digital solutions that align with both user needs and business objectives.

  • Fosters a values-based culture by managing the Digital Experience team.

  • Oversees the requirements and creation of Digital Banking user experience (UX) standards and specific designs in collaboration with cross functional teams.

  • Measures and tracks performance against Digital Banking business goals and coordinates cross-functional efforts.

  • Leads the development of training and educational programs for new Digital Banking offerings throughout the credit union.

  • Manages performance and enhancements of Digital Banking, digital member experience, and third-party integrations across digital experience properties, championing the member as the center of all digital technology decisions.

  • Builds the requirements and leads the creation of user experience (UX) standards and specific designs in collaboration with cross functional teams.

  • Collaborates with key partners across the organization on Digital Banking technology projects, from concept through to end delivery.

  • Serves as a subject matter expert in their field and engages in a support role across the organization, working with project stakeholders to understand business requirements.

  • Owns the quality assurance and testing of Digital Banking, and other marketing-based technologies.

  • Keep abreast of changing trends in the digital marketplace so that the credit union may react quickly and competitively.

  • Performs content and functionality tests to ensure simple, reliable and marketplace relevant experiences to increase user engagement.

  • Manages activities related to platform development, SDK development, and CMS management.

  • Troubleshoots & resolves development and production issues as they arise.

  • Manages vendor relationships as related to web properties and technologies.

Position Requirements:

  • This position is Remote.

  • Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience is Required.

  • 8+ years of experience in consumer-facing technology, with prior experience in development / delivery of online, mobile or consumer facing technologies is Required.

  • 5+ years of people leader experience is Required. 

  • Experience in at least one of the following industries: financial services, retail banking, wealth management, online retail, or payments is Required.

  • Deep & broad understanding of digital marketing and production with proven experience developing digital campaigns and tracking results is Required.

  • Expertise knowledge across digital marketing mediums (i.e., company website, paid search, mobile, SEO/SEM, display/banner ads, social media) is Required.

  • Proficient experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, DreamWeaver, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, .net, Adobe products, and Microsoft Office is Required.
