The Data & Analytics team at Rush Street Interactive (RSI) works to enable data driven decision making through creating and maintaining data outputs and products that provide access to relevant data and insights. We are looking for a Director of Data Products to work closely with internal teams to guide selection, development and usage of data centric products. The role will work across departments, bridging the gap between, analytics, data science, product management and development teams, ensuring alignment to company goals and end user requirements. Initial focus will be working with the Marketing team to enabling growth efforts but the intent is for the role to broaden as the Data & Analytics team enables data driven decision making across the enterprise.

The ideal candidate is someone that thrives on making sure internal partners have exactly what they need to leverage data and drive growth. Knowledge of CRM and operational workflow products is essential. The candidate should be excited about coming into a team in the process of shaping the direction of data and analytics at RSI, working closely with internal stakeholders to champion a data driven mindset by interpreting and creating strong requirements, and delivering efficient and usable data processes, products and services. There is an expectation for data product managers to both set and drive the roadmap while also getting “hands on” when necessary to move the ball forward.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage data product roadmap, ideate with internal business partners to find opportunities to further data driven approaches
  • Support the selection, cross-functional development, usage and maintenance of data tooling to serve multiple internal stakeholders
  • Lead cross team meetings on integrations, creation and rollout of data tooling and products, creating process and meeting cadence as needed
  • Define and create metrics demonstrating the effectiveness or ineffectiveness of the tooling provided, discuss with stakeholders and update roadmap as accordingly
  • Be the SME and go to for data tooling to help drive RSI’s growth via data driven decision making, remain on cutting edge of technology options tirelessly focused on taking analytics to action

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
  • 8+ years of experience solving data problems with business partners to procure or produce automated deliverables
  • 2+ years working with engagement and CRM solutions in gaming, fintech or similar related firm
  • Thorough understanding of business KPIs and promotional tracking (attribution, incrementality and experimental methods)
  • Strong analytical mindset, comfortable with SQL and visualization/BI tooling
  • Very familiar with data products and solution concepts (e.g. data pipelines, data warehouse)
  • Experience driving product development in cross functional collaboration with data engineers, analytic engineers, data scientists, designers, data analyst; using JIRA or similar tool
  • Bonus points for:
    • Gaming industry experience
    • Advanced knowledge of statistical methods for incremental tracking, a/b testing, duration modeling
    • Direct experience with Salesforce
    • Familiarity with Snowflake #LI-REMOTE

This role spans a wide breadth of experience at Rush Street Interactive, welcoming candidates with diverse experiences, backgrounds, and locations. The salary range reflects potential variations in experience, skills, and location. The salary range does not reflect total compensation, which includes base salary, benefits, and/or bonuses. For candidates outside the US (Canada, Europe, Latin America), we take a locally informed approach to compensation and will share specific ranges based on your country of residence.


Location Eligibility: Open to candidates across the US (except California, Washington, Maryland, and New York).

Pay Range

$164,000$210,000 USD
