Team Overview:
We seek a motivated and detail-oriented graduate student intern to join our Marketing Operations team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to focus on assessing our website's technical performance and user experience design. The intern will be crucial in conducting a comprehensive website assessment, analyzing user experience, and providing actionable recommendations for future improvements.
What You Will Do:
- Develop actionable recommendations for enhancing our website digital experience, website usability, and technical performance for overall effectiveness
- Define and analyze key user journeys for audiences, with a focus on specific roles. Set audience-specific goals and map user journeys to identify opportunities for improving user interaction and satisfaction
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement and measure the effectiveness of proposed enhancements
- Perform a competitive analysis to benchmark our website against industry best practices and competitors' websites including providing up-to-date industry trends in digital marketing
- Assist in researching our website's content management system (CMS) to analyze data and make recommendations to inform marketing decisions
- Perform a comprehensive technical assessment of our website properties, including performance, SEO, security, and mobile/browser compatibility
- Conduct usability testing to gather feedback on the website's ease of use, navigation, and overall user experience
- Evaluate the website's accessibility following guidelines such as WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines)
- Analyze the website's design elements, including layout, color scheme, typography, and visual appeal
- Compile findings and recommendations into a comprehensive assessment report and present your recommendations to stakeholders for review and feedback
What You Will Bring:
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program in User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Strong interest in digital marketing, website development, and user experience design
- Basic knowledge of content management systems (CMS) is a plus
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Compensation & Benefits:
The benefits listed below may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Impinj and the country where you work.
The typical base pay range for this role across the US is $26.00/hour - $36.00/hour. Individual base pay depends on various factors such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties, requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Both market wage data and the mid-point of the pay range is reviewed and used as the starting point for all new hire offers. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
At Impinj certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role. US based employees have access to healthcare benefits; a 401(k) plan and company match among others.
