As our Operations Support Supervisor, you will be is responsible for coordinating the workflow of the Operations Support Department including the case referral process, document procurement process, document request process, appeal submission process, and coordination with other departments.   Every day, you will oversee staff productivity, oversee inventory and the support of a subset of clients while staying on top of any updates or issues and perform a daily audit of the operation work queues for task delegation.

 

To thrive in this role, you must:

  • Have the ability to identify different types of hospital documentation including medical records, UB-04s, EOBs, Itemized Bills, Hospital Account notes, appeal letters, and denial/approval letters.   

  • Understand how to use various provider and payer systems to obtain the necessary documentation for case files.

  • Have experience leading teams with up to 17 direct reports and keep all of the information organized for the department and for the clients. 

 

Here’s what you will experience working as an Operations Support Supervisor: 

  • Communicate appeal deadlines out to staff within 24 hours of case receipt.

  • Audit all referrals pending review on the electronic referral tracking sheet and/or Power BI and take steps to resolve any issues.

  • Handle rush and high balances cases.

  • Ensure all appeals are submitted within the timely filing limits. 

  • Work with provider system access coordination and training matrixes. 

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $47,237.00 - $78,919.86 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.This job is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 5.00%
