As a Deep Learning Engineer at Carbon Robotics, you will be at the forefront of training Carbon's advanced vehicles using Object Detection and Deep Learning technologies. Your contributions will directly impact the development of our innovative line of laser weeders, addressing critical challenges in our food supply chain.

What you’ll do:
- Design experiments to test new models and algorithms, optimize them for daily deployments to operational resources in the field, document and produce reports on your findings, and integrate them with our robotics software stack.
- Build quickly through ownership and collaboration with Engineering and Product Management
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for Success:
- Worked as a Deep Learning Engineer or Data Scientist develop and executing computer vision deep learning model design and experimentation using Python and/or C++ for 2+ year( For Senior, 5+yrs)
- Implement model improvements in training code (Python) and/or robotics execution environment (C++)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to explain model details and behavior to non-technical staff and customers
- Work with product leads to define achievable tasks for ML models
- Experience in Deep learning model optimization and deployment.
- BS+ in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field - software engineering background are strongly preferred.

Carbon Robotics follows equitable hiring practices. Flexibility in our hiring process allows hiring of talent at levels different from what are posted. The compensation range outlined is based on a target budgeted base salary. Individual base pay depends on various factors such as relevant experience and skill, Interview assessments and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements. Offers are determined using our equitable hiring practices. Carbon Robotics offers additional compensation in the form of benefits premiums, pre-IPO stock options and On Target Earning commissions for appropriate positions. Base pay ranges are reviewed each year. We are committed to the principle of pay equity – paying employees equitably for similar work.
Carbon Robotics' base salary pay range:
$150,000—$180,000 USD
