Who Boundless Is

We’re a team of immigrants and experts who have struggled with our own journeys through the complex, high-stakes U.S. immigration system. We are building customer-centric products and experiences to become the first trusted brand in immigration. We are the largest player in the family immigration industry, and a high-growth challenger serving corporate clients. Across both consumer and business segments, we’ve helped over 100,000 individuals and 1,000 businesses to successfully navigate the convoluted immigration process.

Today, we are a dynamic growth-stage technology company with 350+ employees across the U.S. and Philippines. We are growing both organically and through strategic acquisitions. We are well-capitalized, backed by influential venture investors around the country—including Foundry Group (led by Brad Feld), Emerson Collective (Laurene Powell Jobs’ foundation), Pioneer Square Labs, Two Sigma Ventures, Trilogy Equity Partners, and Jerry Yang.

What you’ll do

As an Immigration Process Analyst on our Configuration Team, you’ll play a key role in translating complex government processes into user-friendly workflows that drive the customer experience. You will gather requirements, perform legal research, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our workflows align with current immigration standards and deliver value to both internal and external users. In this role, you’ll simplify the immigration experience for our customers while improving the efficiency of our internal teams.

In this role you will:

  • Deeply understand the user experience for our internal users and customers
  • Identify and execute on opportunities to improve processes and workflows
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including technical teams, to gather requirements
  • Develop flexible processes that scale with business growth
  • Present and workshop proposals with stakeholders
  • Research legal rules and regulations (DHS, USCIS and DOL resources) to monitor for any changes to government standards or processes
  • Balance competing priorities, including bug reports, feature requests, and your current roadmap
  • QA final workflow updates for usability and legal compliance

We are looking for:

  • 2+ years of experience developing technical requirements in a support, product or project management role; preference for 2+ years in the immigration space.
  • Excellent, concise written and oral communication
  • Ability to foster collaboration and drive shared understanding across teams
  • Strong project management skills with experience handling competing priorities
  • An excellent communicator who can simplify complexity into actionable insights
  • Ability to identify and prioritize high-value work, delivering impact quickly
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of continuous improvement
  • Passion for optimizing processes to enhance customer success and operational efficiency
  • Ability to work with international teams to achieve goals
  • Drive to transform immigration for businesses and employees

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
