Position Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Engagement Team Lead (Sales Manager) to build and lead our Community Engagement team at Eleanor Health. This role is crucial in driving growth by partnering with healthcare providers, clinics, health facilities, and other key community organizations to generate patient referrals. The Community Engagement Team Lead will be responsible for developing patient referral strategies, setting key performance metrics, and fostering a high-performing sales culture.

Candidate Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead a team of Community Engagement Managers (referral representatives) across multiple states.
  • Provide coaching, training, and professional development to enhance growth effectiveness.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability and metric driven results.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and daily team huddles to assess progress, address challenges, and refine sales strategies.

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive Community Member (patient) referrals and partnerships in key markets.
  • Establish and optimize sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and other cross-functional teams to align referral efforts with business goals.

Performance Management & Metrics

  • Develop and improve existing reporting structures and dashboards to monitor sales performance on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Report performance to leadership team and key organizational stakeholders.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure individual and team success.
  • Analyze provider data to refine strategies and drive continuous improvement.

Market Engagement & Relationship Building

  • Build relationships with healthcare providers, community organizations, and key stakeholders.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to increase Eleanor Health’s presence and referrals.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
  • Represent Eleanor Health at industry conferences, community events, and networking functions.

Candidate Qualifications and Experience:

  • 5+ years of sales leadership experience, preferably in healthcare, behavioral health, or addiction treatment.
  • Resides in one of Eleanor Health’s current markets: FL, LA, MA, NC, NJ, OH, TX, WA
  • Proven success in building, managing, and scaling a sales team.
  • Experience developing sales processes, metrics, and performance management systems.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, including provider networks and referral pathways.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret analytics and translate insights into action.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote work environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

The target annual compensation range for this position is $105,000-115,000 base + bonus. The actual compensation offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.
