Once fully trained, a hybrid schedule is an option to consider but you will still be required to be in the office weekly for at least 2 days a week. Normal work hours are Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm with some flexibility on the start time.

You will work as a team with state and local tax clients and shareholders to:

  • Monitor, resource, and track projects for tax clients including scheduling, timing, action plans, updating of client and internal trackers, tracking of workflow through entire cycle, and communicating progress to team members.

  • Manage the administrative process of a project including planning, conflict checks, budgeting, resource management, engagement initiation, and deliverable development.

  • Collaborate with engagement managers to confirm scope requirements, determine key performance metrics, generate forecasts, and track profitability.

  • Monitor administration of controls in the project/engagement process to ensure all relevant controls are performed for each engagement throughout project lifecycle.

  • Assist with research and developing of tools, templates, and processes for project planning and execution.

  • Create and maintain project management procedures to support the success of the full project lifecycle from initiation to close.

  • Prepare client service agreements for distribution to clients and track status.

  • Monitor new entity checklists and follow-up as necessary.

  • Create and/or update scheduling spreadsheets and roll forward Provided by Client lists (PBC).

  • Help monitor tax compliance and coordinate with tax administrative assistants.

  • Assist in the multistate sales tax and Washington B&O tax compliance process by:

    • Preparing client tax registration documents,

    • Communicating with clients regarding supporting documentation,

    • Preparing draft client work papers and returns on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis,

    • Performing basic account reconciliation procedures, and

    • Utilizing and maintaining sales tax software and log-in information.

  • Update CRM and keep projects moving in system as needed.

  • Schedule weekly check-in meetings with managers and shareholders.

  • Meet regularly with tax shareholders to adjust ongoing task list as needed.

  • Arrange and attend internal practice development and production meetings.

  • Compile client presentation and other meeting materials.

  • Print, bind, and deliver highlighted forms, schedules, and instructions as needed.

  • Communicate weekly with and back up other client service coordinators within the firm when required.

  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by the Shareholders and Managers to support the needs of the organization.

Education:  High school diploma; or a combination of education and directly related work experience.

Experience:  3+ years’ experience in project coordination or financial controls and progressively increase the level of assistance to multiple constituents. Previous professional services company experience preferred.

Pay Rate Range: $32.16 per hour minimum to $48.25 per hour maximum pay range
