About the Role:

Reporting to the Head of Product and Design, you will act as a strategic partner, managing operations, communications, and special initiatives to increase organizational efficiency. You will align cross-functional teams across Product & Design, streamline decision-making, and ensure strategic priorities are executed smoothly. You will act as a trusted advisor, problem solver, and key liaison between the Head of Product and Design, and all stakeholders - within and outside of the Technology organization.

You Will:

  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Partner with the Head of Product & Design to set strategic priorities and operational goals for product and design initiatives. You will track and report on key business metrics and performance indicators, and identify and manage cross-functional strategic initiatives to drive innovation and growth, supporting organizational change throughout.
  • Operational Leadership: Lead daily operations including agenda planning, meeting coordination, and follow-ups. Optimize team processes to enhance efficiency and foster collaboration between Product & Design, and Engineering teams. Manage high-impact special initiatives as needed from inception to completion.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key liaison between the Head of Product & Design, Technology leadership, and stakeholders across many teams including the Executive leadership team, Marketing, Editorial and Finance. Draft executive communications, presentations, and reports for internal and external audiences. Ensure that organizational priorities are clearly communicated and well-executed across the product and design teams.
  • Problem-Solving & Decision Support: Identify challenges, remove roadblocks, and proactively resolve issues that impact Product and Design operations. Support decision-making by providing data-driven insights and recommendations on key initiatives.
  • Culture & Team Development: Help foster a strong, inclusive, and innovative product and design culture. Drive initiatives that promote engagement, collaboration, and professional development for teams across the Product & Design organization.

You Have:

  • A proven track record of success as a Chief of Staff or related role, with at least 12+ years of experience in a technology or product management environment.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and executing cross-functional strategic initiatives,managing organizational change, andmanaging multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence without authority at a senior level.
  • Extensive knowledge of technology trends, product development lifecycles and frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision making.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with executional excellence.

Pay Range: $170,000 - $210,000

Pay-for-performance is a key element in our strategy to attract, engage, and motivate talented people to do their best work. Similarly to salary, for bonus eligible roles, targets are set based on a variety of factors including competitive market practice.
