Come join us to drive major impact on an energetic and ambitious team!

Saturn is the first calendar built directly for young people. We make it super easy to manage the things that you have to do like your classes and homework so that you can spend your time doing the things that you want to do like hanging with friends, clubs, and sports teams. Saturn is used by over 1M high schoolers across the country and we’re excited to expand to college. Your work will directly impact how young people plan their days and interact with their friends and community!

The role:

As the Lead Ambassador, you will help recruit a team of 5-10 other student ambassadors on campus. Together with your team, you’ll work to promote Saturn on campus and earn bonuses as your campus hits growth milestones.

As the primary liaison working with Saturn HQ, you’ll work with our Program Manager to develop creative marketing strategies. You’ll get a budget to sponsor clubs or Greek organizations, host a free food event, or whatever else you think could work well!

You’ll attend a weekly meeting with Saturn Leadership (our designers and founders) to share feedback from your school and ideas on how to improve the app. You’ll get early access to features, work on product development, and get professional start-up experience.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience across marketing, growth, and product at a high-growth startup. This is a paid position earning $25/hour plus additional bonuses as your campus grows. You should expect to commit ~5 hours per week from early February through mid-May.

What you’ll do:

  • Recruit and lead a team of 5 ambassadors at your school to collaborate
  • Grow Saturn at your school - you’ll earn bonuses as you hit milestones of user growth
  • Develop marketing strategies that serve these goals (You’ll receive a budget!)
  • Gather feedback from your campus to ensure they are well-represented in our product
  • Attend a weekly feedback session working closely with Saturn’s team
  • Test early versions of our products and provide constructive feedback
  • Brainstorm and experiment with our product team on the best go-to-market strategies to launch at your college

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
