Our Opportunity:

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer II at our facility in Bellevue, Washington to design, develop, implement, test, document, and operate large-scale, high-volume, high-performance data models, reports/dashboards/BI solutions for analytics and deep learning.

 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Implement data ingestion routines both real time and batch using best practices in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes.
  • Provide on-line reporting and analysis using business intelligence tools and a logical abstraction layer against large, multidimensional datasets and multiple sources.
  • Gather business and functional requirements and translate these requirements into robust, scalable, operable solutions that work well within the overall data architecture.
  • Produce comprehensive, usable data set documentation, metadata, BI reports, Dashboards and insights.
  • Telecommuting permitted.

 

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field and 4 years of experience.
  • Experience must include 4 years with: detailed knowledge of BI data warehouse technical architectures, infrastructure components, ETL/ ELT and reporting/analytic tools.
  • 3 years of experience required with BI/visualization tools like Tableau/ BO/ OBIEE.
  • 2 years of experience required with building self-serve BI solutions, canned reports and enterprise level BI solutions; and
  • Data modeling in large data warehousing, data lake environment.
  • Experience must also include: Big Data stack environments (EMR, Hadoop, MapReduce, Hive); and
  • Analytical skills with advanced SQL.
  • Telecommuting permitted.

Compensation & Benefits:

Our salary range for a Business Intelligence Engineer II position is $115,500 to $183,500. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.
