We are currently seeking a highly driven Business Development Representative to join our Business Development team in Austin, Texas. This role offers the opportunity to join a rapidly growing company delivering industry-leading solutions to customers in the world's most dynamic and fastest-growing sector.
Performance Objectives
• Effectively communicate with influential professionals in various disciplines within the energy industry.
• Qualify new revenue/retention opportunities within current and/or whitespace accounts based on Authority, Need, and Fit and schedule next steps through meaningful interactions (phone, email, chat, and events).
• Partner with Sales teams on segment intelligence, campaign feedback, and scripting to ensure outreach campaigns contain relevant content and verbiage, target appropriate personas, and align with revenue targets.
• Display a consistent record of success in achieving or exceeding assigned opportunity targets while maintaining high levels of integrity and customer satisfaction.
• Attend trade shows, as determined by management.
• Empower Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) w/in segment(s) to ensure the WHY behind campaign outreach is understood and relevant.
Competitive Candidate Profile
• Minimum of 1 year selling SaaS solutions or qualifying new revenue opportunities in a business development capacity with 2 quarters at 100%+ attainment.
• Experience working within the energy sector.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information and adapting it to the end-user.
• Self-motivated, competitive, and a natural drive to succeed.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with Salesforce and prospecting tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo.
• Experience mentoring entry level individual contributors.
This role is eligible for: Commission
Salary Range: 60k base OTE - 100k
