About the Role:

Crowd Cow is seeking a Brand & Content Strategist to lead our communications and content initiatives. This role will shape our brand voice, oversee content creation across all channels, and manage a team of creative professionals. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with hands-on content creation abilities to tell compelling stories about our mission, products, and partners.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive content and communications strategies aligned with business objectives and brand values
  • Monitor content performance metrics and optimize strategies based on data insights, partnering with marketing and e-commerce on performance and testing efforts
  • Collaborate with marketing, e-commerce, and product teams to develop effective messaging and campaigns
  • Draft creative briefs for design projects and ensure brand consistency across all visual assets
  • Create and oversee editorial calendars for all content channels including website, email, social media, etc.
  • Occasionally write and edit high-quality content including blog posts, newsletters, product descriptions, and marketing materials
  • Build and maintain brand guidelines and ensure consistent implementation across all channels
  • Manage 2-3 direct reports

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in content strategy, brand communications, or similar role
  • Proven track record of developing successful content strategies and managing creative teams
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with ability to adapt tone for different audiences and channels 
  • Experience writing creative briefs and directing visual content development
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines

What is Preferred:

  • Experience in food, agriculture, or sustainable food systems 
  • Experience with and/or enthusiasm for adopting AI tools to drive efficiency
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimization
  • Familiarity with content management systems and analytics tools
  • Experience with e-commerce industries and direct-to-consumer brands
  • Portfolio of published content and campaign work

This position will be remote "home based" in the United States, with primarily Pacific Standard Time hours.

Candidates must be eligible to legally work in the United States and visa sponsorship is not provided.
