About Passport:

At Passport, we empower brands to reach their global potential by delivering the #1 international solutions for direct-to-consumer businesses. What sets us apart is our expertise in international shipping—enabling brands like Carpe, OneSkin, Rhode, GORUCK, and Wildflower Cases to scale globally with ease. Our extensive network, in-house team of logistics and ecommerce experts, integrations with Shopify and other ecommerce platforms, and user-friendly portal make us the trusted partner for growth-focused brands looking to expand internationally and create seamless cross-border experiences.

We’re looking for a sharp, execution-minded Business Operations Analyst to join our growing BizOps team. This role is designed for a systems thinker who cares deeply about how teams work—and is driven to implement solutions that enhance effectiveness, unlock leverage, and enable Passport to scale sustainably.

As a key member of the BizOps team, you’ll be focused on building scalable, tech-enabled solutions to reduce cost, increase team leverage, and modernize our operations. In the next 6 months, you’ll have clear mandates to take friction-heavy, manual workflows and turn them into clean, efficient, and automated systems. You’ll need to be as comfortable mapping out processes as you are jumping into implementation.

This is an ideal role for someone early in their career who brings strong judgment, knows how to get things done, and genuinely gets excited about improving the day-to-day lives of teammates and customers.

What you'll do:

  • Architect smart solutions: Build low-code/no-code tooling that enables teams to work faster and smarter. Make thoughtful tradeoffs on when to automate, when to redesign, and when to document and delegate.
  • Diagnose and rewire processes: Map out existing workflows, identify points of failure or inefficiency, and propose solutions that improve accuracy, speed, or cost.
  • Own execution: Take a project from concept to completion—whether it’s rebuilding a manual workflow, reducing costs in a specific area, or implementing a new internal tool.
  • Partner across functions: Collaborate with stakeholders in Ops, Finance, and GTM teams to understand pain points and influence change.
  • Bring structure to chaos: Break down ambiguous problems, prioritize what matters most, and deliver solutions that stick.
  • Serve as a force-multiplier: Help our team—and company—live out the philosophy of “doing more with less” through smart systems and better leverage.

What we're looking for:

  • 1–2 years of experience in business operations, systems, consulting, or a similar analytical/execution-oriented role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or commensurate experience.
  • Experience working closely with executive teams or senior leaders; confident communicating your thinking clearly and concisely.
  • Strong judgment, with the ability to zoom in on the details while keeping the big picture in mind.
  • Relentless problem solver who is always asking, “How might we do this better?”
  • Proficiency with low-code/no-code tools (Parabola, Coefficient, etc.) and a curiosity about how systems connect.
  • Excellent organization and follow-through—you own your work from beginning to end.
  • A deep belief that making life easier for internal teams and customers is always worth the effort.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving, scrappy environment with shifting priorities.

Extra points for:

  • Experience designing internal workflows, automation, or process improvements.
  • Familiarity with business systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, WMS/TMS, or help desk tools).
  • Light experience with SQL, scripting, or building dashboards.

A sneak peak into our perks & benefits:

- Competitive cash and equity packages

- Healthcare, dental, and vision, life & disability insurance

- 401(K) Match

- Bi-Annual Remote Work funds

- 100% remote work environment #LI-Remote

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
