The Nordstrom Media Network (NMN) is an advertising program enabling brands to share their stories with Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack customers via on- and off-site media campaigns. It's a natural next step in our “Closer to You” strategy and allows brands to conveniently connect to our customers with personalized recommendations and experiences. The NMN team is expanding and seeking to hire a Billing Specialist I, who is a motivated self-starter who can help manage our brand billing process. This will require a strong understanding of finance tools, a passion for great communication, and an urgency to complete accurate insertion orders with brands. A day in the life…
- Prepare and issue accurate insertion orders to brands in a timely manner
- Partner with Account Management to ensure signatures are completed in a timely manner by brands
- Ensure timely documentation of insertion order progress through each step of the workflow
- Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, Operations, and Finance to ensure seamless billing operations
- Communicate effectively with partners when inaccuracies are found within systems
- Work with cross-functional partners to execute special billing requests from brands
You own this if you have…
- Proven experience in a similar Billing role
- Strong understanding of billing processes and accounting principles
- Proficiency in DocuSign, Microsoft Office, SharePoint
- Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Problem solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred
- Salesforce and Order Management System experience preferred
