Our Digital Strategy and Innovations team is looking for an Associate Digital Product Manager to be the point person supporting our Emerging Markets, (Residential and Commercial Flood), Personal Lines homeowners and Internal Improvements business segment. The Associate DPM contributes to defining their segment’s product vision and supports the overall digital product delivery process along with their assigned Tiger Team(s). This includes working as a part of the IT Tiger Team, managing the product backlog including intake and prioritization, defining product features and enhancements, leading the effort to refine the product backlog, working to ensure operational readiness, and optimizing the value realization of the product(s). Your efforts will ensure the successful delivery of products and capabilities to the organization. Associate DPMs are involved in the planning and management of development projects from concept to delivery ensuring that their product(s) meet customer needs for features and experience.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Assisting in strategizing and presenting ideas to stakeholders.
  • Helping maintain the product roadmap which includes features that meet customer expectations and experience.
  • Supporting the establishment of the MVP and working towards iterative releases for continuous improvements.
  • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products with recommendations for changes to improve product outcomes.
  • Aiding in maintaining strong alignment with customers and stakeholders.
  • Assisting the primary point of contact between Tiger-Teams and stakeholders.
  • Supporting the development process to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Assisting in managing the product backlog including intake and prioritization.
  • Participating as a member of the scrum delivery team focused on meeting the objectives of each sprint.
  • Helping in adjusting and improving each iteration of the product before release.

Education, Experience, Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of working experience in an IT-related role.
  • Basic knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.
  • Familiarity with assigned segment which includes personal lines homeowners, Emerging Markets (Residential and Commercial Flood), Internal Improvements (Claims, Customer Service, Internal Operations).
  • Awareness of market trends.
  • Strong growth mindset
  • Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Intermediate presentation skills.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with modern methods such as Design Thinking is a plus.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
