About the Role
Rula is seeking an Assistant Controller to oversee Rula’s accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, process improvements, and a faster month-end close. This role will manage a team of six individuals, implement automation and system enhancements, and collaborate across Finance, Financial Operations, Procurement, and external partners.
You’ll play a key role in streamlining operations, reducing the month-end close from eight to five days, and supporting major initiatives like implementing a new chart of accounts and procurement system. Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA required

12+ years of experience in accounting, including Big 4 public accounting and corporate experience in a high growth environment

4+ years of experience in a leadership capacity managing, mentoring, and overseeing performance of teams

Expertise managing month-end and financial operations

Proven proficiency spearheading systems and process improvement, including ERP and automation tools

A strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance requirements
