Your Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Area Vice President- AI Sales. Reporting to a General Manager of AI Sales.  We are expanding our focus to transform provider productivity and clinical workflows across healthcare organizations. We're seeking an experienced Area Vice President to lead this strategic initiative, bringing our comprehensive provider enablement platform to healthcare organizations across the U.S. You will have the opportunity to grow enterprise sales and work closely with dedicated inside sales, sales engineering, and marketing teams. Furthermore, you will partner cross-functionally across the company (e.g., provider solutions product lead, customer success leadership) to align on and execute against an enterprise sales strategy.

A Day in the Life

  • Lead the regional go-to-market strategy for our provider productivity solutions, including pre-visit planning, clinical decision support, workflow automation, and care pathway optimization
  • Own enterprise sales from prospect identification through successful closure
  • Build and maintain relationships with key healthcare executives, particularly CMOs, CMIOs, and operational leaders
  • Coordinate with product, implementation, and customer success teams to ensure solution alignment and successful delivery
  • Drive regional market presence through strategic events, thought leadership, and customer advocacy programs
  • Meet and exceed sales targets while building a sustainable, long-term business
  • Work closely with inside sales, sales engineering, and provider solutions product teams to refine sales pitches, sales collateral, and demos while building Innovaccer and provider expertise
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and meetings, identify ways to increase footfall, and generate qualified leads.

What You Need

  • 10+ years enterprise healthcare software sales, with focus on provider workflow solutions and clinical platforms
  • Proven track record selling workflow automation, clinical decision support, or similar provider-focused solutions
  • Deep understanding of provider pain points, clinical workflows, and operational challenges in healthcare delivery
  • Strong experience navigating complex EMR environments and integration requirements
  • History of closing enterprise deals $500K+ with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience selling to both integrated health systems and distributed provider networks
  • Familiarity with AI/ML applications in clinical settings
  • Understanding of value-based care initiatives and population health strategies
  • Experience with regulatory requirements affecting clinical documentation and provider workflows
  • Ability to prospect potential clients through research, networking, and cold-calling
  • Ability to develop and persuasively lead complex business presentations
  • Willingness to travel, cold call, whatever it takes to move the needle.

Key Skills

  • Healthcare technology sales experience, ability to manage and nurture leads in long sales cycles
  • AI sales expertise - particularly Medical Scribe and Front office solutions, understanding of current trends, and ability to identify unique trend and market positioning of industry leading solutions
  • Existing AI contacts and an established network help to get the project off the ground.
  • Ability to tactically and strategically plan activities that increase the possibility of deal closure
  • Seasoned client experience, the ability to foster deeper relationships, and the ability to build champions at buyer organizations.
  • Ability to manage complex deals and coordinate between multiple stakeholders; ability to project manage and get work done
  • Ability to guide and drive top of the funnel growth; ability to guide and mentor inside sales and demand generation executives.
  • Ability to create new business models and use-cases as an extension of the current Innovaccer offering
  • Ability and prior experience in creating and managing large opportunities with the top 5 AIs in US and driving huge revenue opportunities
  • Agile thinker and problem-solver; experienced in late-stage startup environments
