About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Analytics Lead to elevate our data strategy and team at Future. This is an opportunity for a hands-on leader who can drive insights, mentor top talent, and directly influence business outcomes through data. As our Data Lead, you'll balance strategic leadership with direct analytical work, empowering your team to unlock critical business intelligence.

You will:

  • Actively coach and develop a high-performing data team, providing hands-on mentorship and technical guidance.
  • Directly contribute to complex analytical projects, demonstrating best practices through your own work.
  • Drive business strategy by translating data insights into actionable recommendations for leadership.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify key business questions and develop innovative data solutions.
  • Create a culture of continuous learning, encouraging team members to expand their analytical skills and strategic thinking.
  • Design and implement critical business metrics that provide clear performance visibility.
  • Develop intuitive dashboards and self-service data models that democratize data access across the organization.
  • Mentor team members in advanced analytical techniques, data storytelling, and stakeholder communication.

You have:

  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or data science, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong technical skills in SQL, Python, and modern data platforms (Looker, dbt, Snowflake).
  • A strong understanding of data modeling, data governance, and best practices for data management in large, complex organizations.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business insights.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple initiatives, and meet deadlines.
  • A passion for using data to drive business outcomes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Strong leadership skills with a coaching mindset focused on team growth and empowerment.
 Compensation, Benefits & Life at Future:
  • Salary range: $220,000 - 275,000/ year + equity Salary ranges are set based on multiple considerations including business needs, market demands, talent availability, experience, and unique skills and attributes. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
