The purpose of the Sales & Marketing Analytics Analyst position is to provide actionable recommendations based on data-driven insights to optimize Sales processes and drive revenue growth.

Outcomes & Activities:

  • This position will work from home; occasional planned travel to an assigned Southfield, Michigan office location may be required.  However, this position is permitted to work at a Southfield, Michigan office location if requested by the team member.
  • Develop complex programming to extract and manipulate vast internal data and third-party vendor data.
  • Perform analysis on business policies, processes, and performance related to Sales and Marketing initiatives.
  • Establish performance monitoring metrics and reporting mechanisms to identify patterns, trends and correlations to track the performance of projects on Sales and Marketing initiatives.
  • Translate high level business goals into the tasks and technical specifications needed to accomplish the goal.
  • Summarize analysis findings through clear, concise documentation and present to various levels at the Company.
  • Work with Engineering to enhance CRM, Sales, and Marketing data structures through defining requirements and testing.
  • The role requires analytical expertise, business acumen, leadership, and research skills to effectively partner with cross-functional teams. (Manager)
  • Identify future business opportunities/needs and develops strategies to address them.  Build a road map of ongoing and future analyses to deliver timely results to inform strategic decisions. (Manager)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, etc. - preferred)
  • 3 year’ experience in a professional setting using one or more of the following analytical tools SAS, SQL or Python (Analyst)
  • 3 years’ experience in data analytics in finance, marketing/ad-tech, or other quantitative fields (Analyst)
  • 5 year’ experience in a professional setting using one or more of the following analytical tools SAS, SQL or Python (Senior Analyst)
  • 5 years’ experience in data analytics in finance, marketing/ad-tech, or other quantitative fields (Senior Analyst)
  • 7+ years’ experience in a professional setting using one or more of the following analytical tools SAS, SQL or Python (Manager)
  • 7+ years’ experience in analytics setting, or a combination of higher education and experience (Manager)
  • 3+ years' experience leading a team (Manager)
  • Professional experience in financial services analytics (Manager)

Preferred:

  • Graduate degree (Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics)
  • Auto finance experience
  • Experience with Eloqua, Oracle CRM, Adobe Analytics, GA4
  • Experience with large data manipulation and analysis
  • Experience running and creating reports in an analytical tool or in a business intelligence setting
  • Experience using regression to identify segmentation and strategy

Targeted Compensation: $88,000 - $179,000 base salary + an annual bonus plan

This position is not currently open to individuals who require sponsorship now or in the future to work legally for Credit Acceptance, such as H-1b / H-4 or F-1 OPT visa holders.
