POSITION SUMMARY:
Blue Acorn iCi is looking for an AEM Technical Architect with Alpine JS experience who is able to work on-site one or two weeks per month in Bellevue, WA (near Seattle, WA).
The AEM Technical will be responsible for ensuring code quality, SOPs, and best practices are followed before code is merged and handed off for QA. They have a responsibility to validate and enhance designs from a Solutions Architect to ensure technical feasibility and best development practices within a technical domain. The TA should have a deep understanding of how to configure AEM, as well as how to use OSGi layer, and have the ability to integrate into other marketing and IT systems. They are also expected to be aware of the entire Adobe Experience Cloud set of offerings and have some experience integrating with some of those tools.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Able to work on-site one or two weeks per month in Bellevue, WA (near Seattle, WA)
  • Coding leverage front-end framework (e.g., Alpine JS, Vue.js)
  • Coding using pub/sub patterns, including the ability to fire and handle custom events within the application to facilitate component communication and data exchange.
  • Employ TypeScript for type-safe and efficient code development, ensuring strong typing practices through interfaces.
  • Able to provide unit test code coverage using Jest. A commitment to achieving and maintaining high test coverage (80%+) in the codebase
  • Analyze the technical requirements of enterprise scale projects based on business requirements received from multiple client departments. Develop and document technical solutions and plans for those problems.
  • Define all integration points between AEM and whatever enterprise systems are found within a client technology ecosystem. For example, integrations with e-commerce platforms (Magento a plus), CRM, ERP, Search, and etc.
  • Develop, implement, and configure web content management solutions using AEM and technologies such as Java, HTML/DHTML, XML, JavaScript, and web services
  • Setup and configuration of AEM development environments
  • Setup and configuration of AEM Author and Publish instances and ensuring all code works in both environments
  • Setup and configuration of dispatcher or proxy to run in front of AEM
  • Translating business requirements into technical details relevant to AEM
  • Ensure quality of code is high for themselves and other team members
  • Designing reusable AEM components for authoring content
  • Understand the client’s technical environment and how they use technology to provide the best, focused advice Provide input into estimating engagement activities and execute engagements following the Agile methodology including SCRUM


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science and/or equivalent experience in the development industry
  • 5+ years’ experience with Adobe Experience Manager version 6.0 or above (version 6.5 a plus)
  • Full Stack SME with very strong Front End skills UI and the ability to support API integrations
  • Familiarity with essential frontend tooling, including Webpack and/or Vite.
  • Experience coding leverage front-end framework (e.g., Alpine JS, Vue.js)
  • Java development skills to write sling models and unit tests
  • Skilled in working with modular code structures and working within a design system
  • Experience with GraphQL queries and mutations.
  • Experience with Javascript, utilizing promises, async/await, and the Fetch API.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of the following: JCR, Apache Sling, Apache Felix, OSGi, REST, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, HTML, CSS
  • B2C experience is preferred
  • PII knowledge and experience with ensuring data security
  • AEM Developer or Architect certification preferred
  • Experience in Telecom is a plus
