The CVS Account Manager serves as the point of contact between Church & Dwight and CVS, responsible for driving profitable growth through strategic account management, trade optimization, and collaborative partnerships for the categories & brands you are assigned.

This role reports into the Senior National Account Manager at CVS, who will assist you with development and execution of account-specific strategies while ensuring operational excellence across all business functions.

Strategic Account Management:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive annual business plans aligned with both Church & Dwight and CVS strategic objectives.

  • Drive P&L performance through effective management of sales, trade spending, and profit goals.

  • Lead financial management including Siebel forecasting, trade investment optimization, deduction management, and SG&A oversight.

  • Analyze syndicated data and market insights to identify growth opportunities and optimize category performance.

  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs at CVS & within drug channel.

Customer Partnership:

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key CVS stakeholders across merchandising, operations, planning, and Extra Care teams.

  • Lead joint business planning sessions and quarterly business reviews with CVS team, presenting new products and promotions, highlighting product features, benefits, and market trends to secure shelf space and favorable positioning. 

  • Negotiate promotional calendars, pricing strategies, and commercial terms to drive mutual growth.  

  • Address customer concerns promptly, resolve issues effectively, and ensure a positive experience with CVS.

Cross-Functional Leadership:

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales Strategy, RGM, Analytics & Insights, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance) to drive integrated account strategies.

  • Partner with demand planning to optimize inventory management and service levels.

  • Provide regular business updates and insights to management & be prepared to think outside of the box to creatively solve business issues that arise.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • 5-7 years of progressive sales experience in CPG industry

  • Demonstrated track record of delivering growth in customer development role.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build relationships with key decision-makers at CVS.

  • Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in: Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, Syndicated data analysis, Trade promotion management systems

  • Strong financial acumen and P&L management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in CVS/Drug channel sales account management.

  • Experience with category management principles and analytical analysis

Travel = 25%
