  • Building Relationships: Serve as a trusted advisor to brand partners, educating them on the value of NMN and offering creative, customized media solutions that align with their business objectives. Lead and mentor partner teams on ensuring we always ‘do the right thing’ for our brand partners.
  • Develop & Implement Strategic Campaigns: Work closely with internal teams to develop and present strategic media plans. Collaborate with Account Management to ensure seamless campaign execution, optimization strategies and delivery.
  • Contribute: Work with cross-functional teams, including Buying, Analytics, and Operations, to ensure that campaigns are aligned with Nordstrom’s broader category goals. Lead stretch projects as determined to help continuously improve our systems and processes.
  • Educating and Inspiring: Help our brands and their agency partners understand the power of retail media and Nordstrom’s ability to connect them with their ideal customers.

What We’re Looking For...

  • A Passion for Sales and Retail Media: You’re excited about helping brands succeed through advertising and have a strong interest in retail, e-commerce, and media.
  • Relationship-Building Skills: You thrive on building trust with brand partners and offering thoughtful, tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  • Revenue Growth and Brand Partner Retention: You excel at nurturing relationships with existing brand partners to drive revenue growth, while strategically identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
  • Strong Communicator: You can translate complex ideas into clear, actionable recommendations and have a knack for presenting your ideas persuasively.
  • Results-Oriented: You’re motivated by achieving goals and delivering measurable outcomes.
  • A Collaborative Spirit: You enjoy working cross-functionally and thrive in a team-oriented environment.
  • Attention to Detail: You can manage multiple campaigns and priorities, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.

You own this if you have...

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, account management, media, advertising, or a related field. Retail media experience is a plus.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
