At Snap! Raise, continuous learning isn’t just an extra perk for ambitious employees — it’s a key component driving their collective mission. That’s because, as an education-based fundraising platform, empowering students to succeed also empowers teams to consistently grow. “It’s easy for our people to get behind the organization’s values that our day-to-day roles are rooted in, so the foundation for our culture is solid,” said Senior Director of Outside Sales Erik Anderson. As a remote work-based company, that natural curiosity has come in handy while staying connected across Wi-Fi connections. “We have big expectations in 2022, and I believe we’re all hyper-focused on surpassing our goals so we can keep this momentum rolling,” he said.

EXPANDING WITH EASE
Keeping the customer in mind increases team confidence
With a scheduled launch of at least three new products and services in 2022, teams at Snap! understand that agility is essential. And while rapidly expanding a customer base could seem daunting, Anderson isn’t just ready — he’s confident. “We’ve never been in a better place to tackle the challenges that come with this kind of growth,” he said. Whether it’s brainstorming ideas on a weekly team call or building major-scale educational workshops with other regional managers, Anderson attributes his team’s hunger for knowledge back to the work they do: serving educators, coaches and students.

A TEAM-FIRST MENTALITY
Learning, growing and succeeding — together
Tyler Palmer
Senior Product Manager
Palmer has worn many hats while climbing the career ladder at Snap! Starting as a sales rep before rising into management, he credits his growth to being pushed to pursue specialized external trainings so that his skills continuously leveled up. “Every manager I’ve had at Snap! has put their team members first, because leadership truly cares about the well-being and development of their people,” he said. “Being able to learn from those with tons of experience and the right supervision is key.”
Snap! has the leadership in place to help employees develop in every department.
RELISHING IN REMOTE CULTURE
Putting PEP in every employee’s step
Meek knows that collaboration is essential to build a prosperous company culture. But what does that look like when remote teams aren’t working under the same roof? “We have a team called PEP which stands for ‘People Experience with Purpose,’” she said. That means whether it’s a win, anniversary or personal milestone, it won’t be getting overlooked. Keeping teams tight-knit has also led to the hosting of virtual wellness workshops and, most recently, a peer-voted awards ceremony. “Although we’re working in different parts of the country, we can celebrate all the success stories — together.”

Senior Manager of Events and Projects
Many of the initiatives and events that we host are ideas suggested from our employees. We encourage anyone to reach out to the PEP team and work with them to implement their beneficial ideas.
