More than 70 Seattle companies were featured on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing, privately-owned companies in 2022.

Inc. released its 2022 Inc. 5000 list on Tuesday showcasing the fastest-growing, privately-owned companies in the country. Washington and Seattle were both well represented on the list, with several tech companies ranking in the top 500.

Rankings were calculated by analyzing revenue growth between 2018 and 2021.  

In total 92 Washington companies were featured on the list, of which 75 were located in the Seattle area. Companies ranged in industries from healthcare to fintech to recruiting. Together these businesses represent the innovation and strength of the Seattle tech hub.

Anvil Secure is a cybersecurity consulting firm that was founded in 2016. The company provides highly specialized services such as code review and pen testing, an authorized simulated cyberattack to find vulnerabilities. This is the company’s first time included on the Inc. 5000 list. According to Inc., Anvil Secure grew its revenue by 1,880 percent over the course of three years.

FlavorCloud specializes in international shipping and logistics. The company has a large network of global carriers and also uses automated intelligence (AI) to streamline customs protocols. Founded in 2018, it ships to over 200 countries. According to Inc., FlavorCloud has seen a 2,144 percent increase in its revenue since 2018.

Having recently become a tech unicorn, SeekOut has had a stellar year. Based in Bellevue, the company’s software helps businesses recruit talent with a specific focus on increasing diverse hirings. SeekOut is the third fastest-growing tech company in the Seattle area and has seen an increase in revenue of 2,231 percent, according to Inc.

Tacoma-based Actriv Healthcare helps medical facilities recruit healthcare professionals and has previously landed on the Inc. 5000 list. The company was founded in 2017, but between 2018 and 2021, it grew its revenue by 3,409 percent, according to Inc.

Topping Inc.’s 2022 list of the fastest-growing companies in Seattle is teambuilding. Teambuilding was founded in 2015 and organizes virtual and in-person events and professional development training for teams. Its events include things such as office games, storytelling and murder mysteries. According to Inc., teambuilding grew its revenue by 17,649 over the last three years.
