Healthcare technology provider DocNow — which offers tools for electronic health records, or EHR, and wound care management — just pulled seed funding of an undisclosed amount led by Waterline Ventures.
Bellevue-based DocNow works to help clinicians reduce how long it takes to perform administrative tasks like charting, leaving them more time to care for patients. Its solution integrates with practices’ existing EHR tools and offers services including assistive note generation and advanced templating. For wound care providers, DocNow provides a mobile app for capturing photos, measurements and assessments that sync with a patient’s record.
Since DocNow launched in 2019, the company has come to partner with about 2,000 long-term care facilities, helping providers automate their workflows and simultaneously improve their billing accuracy and compliance.
With its fresh capital, DocNow will accelerate new feature development. It also plans to expand its solution across the post-acute care space and further its customer focus.
