It was a busy week for Seattle tech startups and companies. Many closed funding rounds, and others announced new plans. Catch up on Amazon’s plan to open a convenience store in Bellevue or read up on Spice AI’s latest raise with the Built In Seattle Weekly Refresh. 

QA Wolf launched with funding. QA Wolf is a software testing company that launched last week with $20.1 million in funding in a round that Inspired Capital led. The company provides end-to-end software testing for high stakes industries like healthcare and works with companies ranging from small startups to enterprise companies. The company was founded in 2019 and has seen revenue increase fivefold over the last few months. [PR Newswire]

Amazon confirmed a new Amazon Go store. Despite closing several physical stores over the last two years, Amazon will open an Amazon Go store in one of the company’s office buildings in Bellevue. Amazon Go locations act as a convenience store that sells everything from ready-made food to liquor to coffee.
