TaxBit expands into Seattle with second HQThe company provides enterprises, consumers and government agencies with cryptocurrency tax and accounting automation software. Utah-based TaxBit’s newly established office, its second headquarters, is in South Lake Union District, and it’s planning to grow its headcount there, starting with its first four leadership hires: Erin Fennimore, global head of information reporting solutions, Zac Corker, VP of growth, Simon Frey, VP of customer operations, and Clark Roberts as senior director of engineering. Zeitworks raised $2MHaving spun out of Madrona Venture Labs, this startup focuses on helping companies improve their business operations using machine learning software. With its new funding from Jazz Ventures and Madrona Venture Group, Zeitworks is looking to add more pilot customers and grow its tech. It also hired a new CEO, Jay Bartot. [GeekWire]

It wants to invest the funding in product development, go-to-market strategies and hiring. Acumatica relocated to KirklandThe company has officially outgrown its previous office space in Bellevue, and with 45 employees in the area, it’s set for plenty of future growth with its new space that can accommodate up to 80 people. Its new office spans 8,000 square feet. Acumatica is also planning to expand its presence globally, with over 500 employees worldwide. [Puget Sound Business Journal]
