These 5 Seattle Tech Companies Raised $72M+ in September

Last month in Seattle, the five biggest tech funding rounds pulled in a combined total of $72.5 million. Pure Watercraft snagged the No. 1 spot with its $23.4 million round. Read below for the details on each of September’s top Seattle tech fundings.

 

#5. $7.5 million, September 2

The company wants to use technology to help immigrants navigate the U.S. immigration system. Foundry Group led the Series A round. That brought its total funding to date to over $18 million.

 

#4. $13 million, September 15

The startup built a health and wellness brand that focuses on things like healthy fats, promoting brain health through diet and boosting immunity. It is particularly well known for its “Bulletproof coffee,” which includes butter and MCT oils. Beliv led the funding round.

 

#3. $13 million, September 2

It offers API Access Control solutions to help protect information from cyber attacks. ForgePoint Capital led the Series A. To date, the company has raised $15 million in funding.

 

#2. $15.6 million, September 10

Its software platform lets doctors and healthcare providers monitor their patients remotely.  U.S. Venture Partners led the Series A. It plans to use the funds to expand its product and engineering teams.

 

#1. $23.4 million, September 22

At the top of the crop in Seattle this month is Pure Watercraft, which provides electric marine propulsion solutions. L37 led the Series A funding. It plans to use the funds to scale operations from beta to broad commercialization.
